Payment processor comparison
Stripe vs Anytime Capital
Stripe is the default for developers, and it earned that: its API, documentation and ecosystem are the broadest in payments. Anytime Capital Payments charges 2.75% + 30¢ against Stripe's published 2.9% + 30¢, pays out instantly to an Anytime Capital business account, and puts a business account, employee cards, global payouts and crypto on the same balance. Here is where each one wins.

Quick answer
Is Anytime Capital cheaper than Stripe?
On standard US online card pricing, yes, by 0.15 percentage points: 2.75% + 30¢ against Stripe's published 2.9% + 30¢, or $3.05 against $3.20 on a $100 sale, and new businesses pay 2.5% + 30¢ for their first 30 days with the launch offer. Neither charges a monthly fee. Stripe's Instant Payouts cost 1.5% of each payout; Anytime Capital pays out instantly to your Anytime Capital business account, where it is already spendable on employee cards and ready to go out on any payout rail. Stripe is still the better choice if you need its depth: Connect for marketplaces, Billing for complex subscriptions, Terminal hardware and the largest library of integrations in payments.

What Stripe is genuinely good for
- Developer-led SaaS companies, marketplaces and platforms that want the broadest payments API, Connect for paying out sellers, and Billing for complicated subscriptions.
- Businesses selling in many countries that need dozens of local payment methods and presentment currencies through one integration.
- Teams already built on Stripe, with plugins, reporting and engineers who know it, where the real cost of any processor is the cost of switching.
Where Stripe is genuinely ahead
If you are building a marketplace that splits a payment between sellers, a SaaS product with usage-based billing and proration, or a checkout that has to speak twenty local payment methods, Stripe has a product for it, documented to a standard the rest of the industry copies. Connect, Billing, Terminal, Radar and Issuing are each a company's worth of engineering, and the library of plugins and engineers who already know the API is a real asset.
Stripe is also moving fastest on what comes next. Its Sessions 2026 announcements expanded the Agentic Commerce Suite for AI agents that shop and pay, and it has been building stablecoin rails since closing its acquisition of Bridge in February 2025. If your roadmap depends on any of that, it is a reason to stay.
Anytime Capital does not try to out-API Stripe. Anytime Capital Payments is built for businesses that want to take payments without a payments team: payment links, invoices, email checkout, subscriptions and in-person scan-and-tap from a dashboard, with a REST API, webhooks and an MCP endpoint for when you want to automate.

What 0.15 points and a payout fee add up to
Take a business doing $50,000 a month in $100 online card sales. At Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢ that is $1,600 in processing fees. At 2.75% + 30¢ it is $1,525, and during the launch offer's first 30 days $1,400. The gap is $75 a month, or $900 a year: useful, not life-changing.
The bigger difference shows up when you need the money. Moving a $48,000 balance with Stripe's Instant Payouts costs 1.5%, or $720, each time you do it. With Anytime Capital, sales settle into the same balance your business account and employee cards run on, so spending it does not wait on a payout at all, and sending it elsewhere is a choice of rail.
Payouts: a schedule versus one balance
Stripe pays out to the bank account you connect. Many lower-risk US businesses are on a 2-day schedule; higher-risk businesses can be on 14 days, and a new account waits 7 days for its first payout, which Instant Payouts do not skip. Instant Payouts themselves usually land within 30 minutes and are capped at 10 a day.
Anytime Capital starts from the other end. Your payments balance and your business account are the same platform, so settled sales sweep into it instantly, nights and weekends included. From there it goes out by RTP or FedNow in seconds, same-day wire, ACH, local rails in 71+ countries (SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, PIX, SPEI, UPI, PayNow and mobile money), SWIFT, or same-day USDC and USDT transfers.
For developers: the API, webhooks and AI tools
Anytime Capital's REST API creates payment links, invoices and customers from your own product and sends signed webhooks when anything changes. Every docs page can be copied as Markdown or opened in Claude with an integration prompt, and an MCP endpoint lets AI agents create links and invoices with a key you scope. It is a smaller surface than Stripe's, on purpose.
If you need marketplace split payments, metered billing or card issuing for your own customers today, Stripe is the more complete product and we would tell you so on a call.
Switching without breaking anything
You do not have to move everything at once. The usual pattern is to send new payment links and invoices through Anytime Capital while existing Stripe subscriptions run their course, then move the rest once the numbers are in front of you. Our US business team helps move links, invoices and customer records from your old processor.
- Open a business account; most complete applications are approved the same day
- Claim the launch offer: 2.5% + 30¢ for your first 30 days of card payments
- Send new links and invoices from Anytime Capital, under your own brand
- Point your webhooks at Anytime Capital as you move each flow
