On the standard online card rate, yes: 2.75% + 30¢ against Stripe's published 2.9% + 30¢, and 2.5% + 30¢ for your first 30 days with the launch offer. Both add fees for international cards and currency conversion, so compare those for your own mix too.
Claim it at sign-up or from this page and it is stored on your business. Your first 30 days of card payments are charged at 2.5% + 30¢, counted from the day card payments switch on, then 2.75% + 30¢. It applies automatically; there is no code to enter at checkout.

Yes, as with every processor: cards issued outside the US, currency conversion and disputes can carry additional fees. They are listed in your dashboard before you take a payment, and pre-dispute alerts with automatic refunds help you avoid dispute fees in the first place.
You can pass a card processing fee of up to 3% on to customers in Settings → Payments where the law allows it, shown clearly at checkout. Bank payments can be offered alongside cards for customers who'd rather avoid it.
