A new Stripe account's first payout arrives 7 days after its first successful payment. After that, Stripe pays out on a rolling schedule: 2 days for many lower-risk US businesses, and up to 14 days for businesses Stripe considers higher-risk. Instant Payouts can bring a payout forward to within about 30 minutes, for 1.5% of the amount, but not the first one.
Every sale on a 2-day schedule is working capital the business has earned and cannot spend yet: payroll, suppliers and stock wait on it. A launch, a sale weekend or a busy season puts the most money in the queue exactly when the business needs it.
Anytime Capital Payments and the Anytime Capital business account are one product, so there is no payout between them. A card sale settles into the account and is spendable on employee cards at once, and supplier payments go out from the same balance on local rails in 71+ countries.
