Three-way comparison

Paybis vs Zengo: a checkout against a wallet
This is not really a rivalry. Zengo is a self-custody wallet with a buy button; Paybis is one of the companies that buy button can call. What matters is the fee you pay on the way in, whose support you get, and whether the wallet comes with anything else.
- Zengo: keyless MPC self-custody, buys via partner on-ramps at partner fees
- Paybis: standalone checkout, 5.99–9.99% all-in on cards, delivers to any wallet
- Anytime Capital: wallet plus buying from 4%, plus cash, wire and a phone line
Updated September 2026. Paybis figures from its published pricing policy, U.S. terms and independent reviews.

Quick answer
Is Paybis or Zengo better?
They do different jobs. Zengo is a well-regarded self-custody wallet that uses multi-party computation instead of a seed phrase; when you tap buy, it routes you to a partner on-ramp and you pay that partner's fee, typically several percent on a card. Paybis is a standalone on-ramp that delivers to any wallet address, including a Zengo one, at 5.99–9.99% all-in on cards. Anytime Capital combines both roles for U.S. customers: a free non-custodial wallet, card pricing from 4%, and the cash, wire, OTC desk and phone support neither offers.

Card fees: Paybis vs Zengo vs Anytime Capital
Published fee percentages on a debit or credit card order
- Anytime Capital
- Paybis
- Zengo
Paybis publishes a 1.49% service fee on card orders after your first purchase of each asset, plus a card processing fee of 4.5% to 8.5% depending on currency, with a $2 minimum. Anytime Capital pricing starts from 4% and is shown in full before you pay. Both exclude blockchain network fees. Figures as of September 2026; check each platform's checkout for your exact quote. Zengo figure is its published or widely reported card rate and may vary by method, region and order size.
What Zengo actually is
Zengo is a mobile wallet built around multi-party computation: your key is split between your device and Zengo's servers so there is no seed phrase to lose, and recovery uses a face scan and a backup file. It is a thoughtful piece of self-custody software with a good security record. Buying inside Zengo hands you to a partner such as MoonPay or Banxa, so the fee, the verification and the support for that purchase belong to the partner, not to Zengo.
Where Paybis fits
Paybis is a standalone on-ramp. You can buy on paybis.com and paste your Zengo address, and the coins arrive there. That gives you Paybis's fee schedule, 1.49% plus 4.5–8.5% on cards or 0.99% by bank transfer, and Paybis's chat support if anything stalls.
A front door, not a chat window
Paybis is built to live inside other people’s apps. We are built to be visited. Bring cash, bring questions, or bring a problem another platform could not solve.

The wallet that comes with a company
Anytime Capital's wallet is non-custodial like Zengo's, but it belongs to a U.S. money services business with a branch, a phone number and its own buying rails. Card orders from 4%, cash in Atlanta or by mail, same-day wire through the OTC desk, and an FDIC-insured cash account with a free debit card for when you sell. If you want self-custody without being handed to a third party every time you buy, that is the difference.
