Paybis KYC: what it asks for, how long it takes, and why it stalls
Yes, Paybis requires KYC, and so does every legitimate platform. The difference between on-ramps is not whether they verify you but what happens when the automated check says no.

Quick answer
Does Paybis require KYC?
Yes. Paybis requires identity verification on every account: a photo of a government-issued ID and a selfie, sometimes followed by proof of address or source-of-funds questions for larger amounts. Paybis says the automated check usually completes in about 5 minutes but can take longer when an application is routed to manual review. Anytime Capital requires the same identity verification, and adds the option of finishing it face to face at the Atlanta branch or over the phone.

What a card purchase actually costs
Published fee percentages on a debit or credit card order
- Anytime Capital
- Paybis
Paybis publishes a 1.49% service fee on card orders after your first purchase of each asset, plus a card processing fee of 4.5% to 8.5% depending on currency, with a $2 minimum. Anytime Capital pricing starts from 4% and is shown in full before you pay. Both exclude blockchain network fees. Figures as of September 2026; check each platform's checkout for your exact quote.
What Paybis verification involves
Paybis onboarding is a standard automated KYC flow. You create an account with an email and phone number, photograph a passport, driver's licence or national ID, and take a selfie so the system can match your face to the document. Paybis states it accepts thousands of document types from more than 200 countries and territories.
When the automated check passes, Paybis says approval takes around 5 minutes and you can buy immediately. When it does not pass cleanly, the application goes to manual review, which is where the "still pending after two days" reviews come from. Larger or unusual orders can trigger a request for proof of address or an explanation of where the money came from.
Can you use Paybis without KYC?
No, and you should be suspicious of any platform that says otherwise. Paybis markets some partner integrations as reducing repeat verification, but a first-time customer is always identified. Anytime Capital is the same: verification is required before you can transact, because we are a registered U.S. money services business and it is the law.

Why automated KYC fails good customers
Glare on a licence, a name that does not match the card, an address that changed last month, a selfie in poor light: automated systems reject all of these, and the customer gets a generic message. On an online-only platform your only recourse is to resubmit and wait for a ticket.
At Anytime Capital the same check runs online, but when it stalls you can call (470) 748-2530 and have someone tell you exactly what is wrong, or bring your documents to the Atlanta branch and verify across a desk. For customers who have been burned by a pending status elsewhere, that alone is the reason they switch.
What verification unlocks
On Paybis, verification unlocks card and bank purchases up to tiered limits, with higher tiers requiring more documents. At Anytime Capital, one verification opens crypto buying and selling, the FDIC-insured cash account with its free virtual debit card, the non-custodial wallet, and access to the OTC desk for larger orders. It is one identity check for the whole account, not a new hoop for every product.
Leaving Paybis? Your wallet address works here too.
Verify once with your ID and a selfie, pick a coin, choose any of nine ways to pay, and paste the same address you already use. Card and Apple Pay orders confirm in minutes; wires settle the same business day.
