QuickBooks Online & Xero
Connect QuickBooks Online or Xero once and every payment, its card processing, every refund and every payout posts to your books on its own, through a clearing account whose balance matches your Anytime Capital balance. Payouts land as transfers you can match to the bank feed.

How it posts
Payments are cash sales because they were paid at checkout: there is nothing receivable to open and close. Each record carries its payment or payout id as its reference.
| Record | QuickBooks Online | Xero |
|---|---|---|
| Payment | Sales receipt, deposited to the clearing account | Receive Money into the clearing account |
| Card processing | Expense paid from the clearing account | Spend Money from the clearing account |
| Refund | Refund receipt paid from the clearing account | Spend Money from the clearing account |
| Payout | Transfer from the clearing account to your bank account | Bank transfer from the clearing account to your bank account |
Connect
Owners and admins connect in Settings → Accounting. One set of books at a time; disconnecting leaves everything already posted in place.
In Settings → Accounting, choose the first day to bring in, then Connect.
Sign in to QuickBooks Online or Xero and approve Anytime Capital.
Clearing (or Create one for me), sales income, card processing, refunds and payouts.
Sales tax inside income or on its own line; sync customers by name, or not.
When it syncs
The sync runs in the background and tells you, by email and in the app, when something needs a person.
Oldest first, on a schedule, and whenever an owner or admin presses Sync now.
Card processing posts as soon as its amount is known, or three days after the payment.
A record your books refuse is shown with the reason and retried up to 5 times; Retry any time after fixing it.
Owners and admins hear by email and in the app when records keep failing or the connection needs renewing.
Choose a start date after the last file you imported from Reports, so nothing is booked twice.
A dispute posts when it takes money, with its fee; a win puts the money back. Payouts still match the bank feed.
Payouts
Withdraw store sales to your bank account from Payouts whenever you like, or let automatic payouts run on your schedule. Instant delivery is offered when your account and bank are eligible, and every payout shows the sales behind it.

Payments for online stores
Each guide covers one part of running a store's payments on Anytime Capital, with what works today and how to set it up.
Every payment (a sales receipt in QuickBooks, Receive Money in Xero), its card processing (an expense, or Spend Money), every refund and every payout to your bank (a transfer from the clearing account). Each record carries its payment or payout id as its reference.
Your payments balance is money waiting to be paid out, so it lives in a bank-type clearing account in your books. Every record moves money in or out of it, its balance matches your Anytime Capital balance, and each payout lands in your real bank account as a transfer you can match to the bank feed.
Every 30 minutes, oldest first, and whenever you press Sync now. Card processing posts once its amount is final: as soon as it's known, or three days after the payment.
No. Each record posts once: a retried request carries the same idempotency key, so a sync interrupted halfway never doubles anything, and reconnecting the same company picks up where it left off. A record your books refuse is retried automatically up to 5 times and shown with the reason.
Not yet. Reports → Accounting exports in your dashboard include disputes, so you can book them from the CSV.
Owners and admins connect, choose the start date and account mapping, and see anything that didn't sync. One set of books at a time; disconnecting stops syncing and leaves everything already posted in place.
The live sync covers QuickBooks Online and Xero. A Zapier app for sending payments, invoices and customers to other tools is coming soon, and the API and signed webhooks are available today.
