Your team hears about sales where it already talks. Connect a Slack, Discord or Microsoft Teams channel in Settings → Notifications → Team chat alerts, choose which events post there, and each one arrives as a short card with the amount, the customer, what they bought and a link into your dashboard. No code: each channel's own incoming webhook does the posting.
What can post to a channel
| Alert | Posts when |
|---|---|
| New payment | A customer pays: amount, customer, what they bought and how they paid. |
| Refund issued | Money goes back to a customer, full or partial. |
| Dispute opened / response due soon | A customer disputes a payment, and again as the deadline to respond gets close. |
| Payout sent / failed | A payout reaches, or doesn't reach, your bank account. |
| New subscription / subscription canceled | A customer subscribes, cancels or their subscription ends. |
| Invoice paid / overdue | An invoice is paid, or passes its due date unpaid. |
| Payment held for review | A payment is waiting for you to approve or reject it. |
| Daily summary | About 8am in your business's time zone: yesterday's gross and net volume, payments, refunds, failed payments, disputes and top sources. Quiet days are skipped. |
Every other team alert in Settings → Notifications (failed payments, plan changes, quotes accepted, team changes and more) can post too. Alerts only owners can receive, like refunds waiting for an owner's approval, never post to a channel, since anyone in the channel can read it.
Connect a channel
- Create an incoming webhook in your chat app (the steps for each app are below) and copy its URL.
- In your dashboard, open Settings → Notifications and choose Add channel under Team chat alerts. Owners and admins can add channels.
- Pick the app, name the channel (for example
#sales), paste the URL and choose the alerts. - Choose Test to post a test message, and check it arrived.
Slack
Create a Slack app for your workspace with Incoming Webhooks turned on, add a webhook to the channel, and copy its URL. It starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/. Slack Workflow Builder links (/triggers/…) don't accept formatted messages, so use an incoming webhook.
Discord
Open the channel's Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks, create a webhook and copy its URL. It starts with https://discord.com/api/webhooks/. Messages never mention or ping anyone, whatever a customer's name says.
Microsoft Teams
In the channel, open Workflows and choose the template Send webhook alerts to a channel, then copy the URL from its When a Teams webhook request is received step. Workflow URLs are on api.powerplatform.com (older ones on logic.azure.com) and end in sig=…; paste the whole URL. Microsoft retired the old Office 365 connector webhooks (webhook.office.com) in May 2026, so those aren't accepted.
Privacy
Turn on Hide customer email addresses for a channel and every email address is left out of its messages; names and amounts still show. Each message links to the payment, invoice or subscription in your dashboard, where the details are behind your team's own sign-in.
Delivery and failures
- Each event posts once per channel, even if it is seen more than once.
- A message that can't be delivered is retried after 1, 5 and 30 minutes. A deleted or revoked webhook isn't retried.
- After 5 messages in a row fail, the channel pauses itself and your business's owners get an email. Fix the webhook (or paste a new URL), send a test and choose Resume.
- Each channel shows its status, the last message sent, the last error and how many messages were sent and failed this week.
- A business can connect up to 10 channels.
For your own systems rather than a chat channel, use signed webhooks, or connect other apps with Zapier.
