Fees
Upbit fees, explained line by line
Every platform quotes one number and charges several. Here is what Upbit actually takes on a purchase, what it leaves out of the headline, and what the same order costs at Anytime Capital.
- Upbit: no card, Apple Pay or Google Pay purchases at all; the only way in is a Korean-won transfer from a linked K Bank account, so a card never enters the picture
- Trading: 0.05% maker and taker on the KRW market, with BTC and USDT markets cut to 0.05% from 0.25% in a promotion that began August 29, 2026
- Anytime Capital cards from 4%, shown in full before you pay

Quick answer
How much does Upbit charge?
Upbit charges no card, Apple Pay or Google Pay purchases at all; the only way in is a Korean-won transfer from a linked K Bank account, so a card never enters the picture. Trading fees are 0.05% maker and taker on the KRW market, with BTC and USDT markets cut to 0.05% from 0.25% in a promotion that began August 29, 2026. Bank transfers: KRW deposits from the linked K Bank account are free; KRW withdrawals carry a small flat fee of about 1,000 won. Withdrawals: a fixed per-coin network fee published on the withdrawal screen. Blockchain network fees are added on top. Anytime Capital card, Apple Pay and Google Pay orders start from 4% with the full price on screen before you confirm.

Card pricing at Anytime Capital, where Upbit has no card rail
Published fee percentages on a debit or credit card order
Upbit does not sell crypto for a card payment directly: no card, Apple Pay or Google Pay purchases at all; the only way in is a Korean-won transfer from a linked K Bank account, so a card never enters the picture. Anytime Capital card pricing starts from 4% and is shown in full before you confirm, excluding network fees. As of September 2026.
What Upbit charges, in order
Upbit's fee schedule is short because its product is narrow. Trading on the Korean-won market costs 0.05% for makers and takers. The BTC and USDT cross markets were 0.25% until August 29, 2026, when Upbit cut them to 0.05% as well, initially as a promotion running into September, after Korean rivals began waiving trading fees outright. Won deposits from the linked K Bank account are free, and won withdrawals carry a flat charge of roughly 1,000 won.
Crypto withdrawals are a fixed per-coin network fee that Upbit publishes on the withdrawal screen. There is no card fee, no instant-buy spread and no Apple Pay markup, because none of those rails exist on Upbit. That is worth saying plainly: the fee that matters most to a buyer starting from a card or a bank balance, the cost of turning money into coins, has no number here because nobody without a K Bank account can fund the account.
Anytime Capital's card, Apple Pay and Google Pay pricing starts from 4% with the spread included, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm, and same-day wire orders through the OTC desk are quoted individually. It is one all-in number for a different product: dollars in, coins out, wherever you are, with a person to call.
Network fees, spread, and the number that matters
Both platforms add the blockchain network fee to send your coins. What differs is how the price is presented. Upbit's schedule is spread across trading, deposit and withdrawal lines. Anytime Capital shows one number for what you pay and one for what you receive. The second number is the only one worth comparing: screenshot both checkouts on the same $1,000 order and look at how much crypto lands.

The rails where the fee question barely applies
Upbit has no cash rail at any price and no domestic wire desk. At Anytime Capital, cash in the Atlanta branch and cash by mail are priced like any other order, and wires for larger amounts are handled by the OTC desk with a locked quote. For a customer moving real size, a wire costs a fraction of any card rail, at Upbit or anywhere else.
