    Ramp vs Anytime Capital

Ramp automates spend, bill pay and procurement in US dollars, and the automation is genuinely good. None of it touches cryptocurrency. This page compares the two honestly — what Ramp is genuinely better at, and where an account built for digital assets is the only thing that does the job.

    What Ramp Is Good For

    • Finance teams focused on cost control — Ramp's product is built around finding and eliminating wasteful spend.
    • Companies automating accounts payable, procurement, and receipt matching with a high degree of automation.
    • Organisations that want corporate cards, bill pay, and vendor management consolidated in one workflow.

Ramp optimises dollars out. It has no answer for assets on-chain.

Ramp is a spend-management and accounts-payable platform, and a genuinely strong one. Its automation around receipt matching, vendor management, procurement approvals, and identifying wasteful spend is why finance teams adopt it. For controlling and reporting US-dollar outflow, it does the job well.

It is not a cryptocurrency platform. Publicly, Ramp offers no digital-asset trading, no wallet — custodial or otherwise — no on-chain vendor payments, and no path to turn digital assets into dollars in your operating account. If your company invoices in USDC, pays contributors on-chain, or holds a treasury position, none of that touches Ramp's rails.

The automation argument, applied to on-chain payments

The reason Ramp's AP automation resonates is that finance work is full of repeated manual steps that invite errors. On-chain payments have the same problem in a sharper form: a wallet address pasted incorrectly is not a reconciliation issue, it is an unrecoverable payment.

Anytime Capital treats that as a product problem. Vendors and contractors are saved as people — a name, a photo, their wallets behind them, with whitelist badges — and the send flow picks from that list instead of asking for a fresh address every time. It is the same instinct Ramp applies to receipts, aimed at the failure mode that actually costs money on-chain.

Records come out the other side with dollar values attached, so the month-end close does not turn into a forensic exercise across block explorers.

    Where the two stacks meet

Companies rarely choose between these products, because they do not overlap. Ramp handles cards, bill pay, and procurement in fiat. Anytime Capital handles digital assets: buying across 38+ assets at desk-quoted rates, holding in a free non-custodial wallet titled to the entity, paying out on-chain, and settling to USD the same day by ACH, Fedwire, or RTP.

Funding is where the difference is most visible day to day. Ramp moves money over bank rails. Anytime Capital funds by business wire, business debit and credit cards, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, cash by mail, and in-person cash at our Atlanta and Miami branches — with the desk on the phone when an order is large enough to need one.

    Ramp vs Anytime Capital FAQ

    Does Ramp support crypto payments?

Based on publicly available information, Ramp does not offer cryptocurrency trading, custody, wallets, or on-chain vendor payments. Its bill pay and AP automation operate over traditional fiat rails.

What is the best Ramp alternative for crypto payouts?

Ramp has no crypto payout capability to replace, so this is an addition rather than a swap. Anytime Capital provides on-chain B2B payments and stablecoin payroll in USDT and USDC, with same-day conversion back to USD by ACH, Fedwire, or RTP.

Can we use Ramp and Anytime Capital together?

Yes, and that is the usual arrangement. Ramp handles cards, bill pay, and procurement in dollars; Anytime Capital handles digital-asset treasury, on-chain payments, and the off-ramp. The accounts are separate and the records reconcile in dollars.

How do you avoid mistyped wallet addresses?

Vendors and contractors are saved as named contacts with a photo and their wallets attached, including whitelist badges. The send flow picks from that list, so a repeat payment never requires re-entering an address.

Which cryptocurrencies can a business trade?

38+ assets including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, and the stablecoins USDT and USDC, with desk-quoted execution on larger orders.
