Fees
Gate fees, explained line by line
Every platform quotes one number and charges several. Here is what Gate actually takes on a purchase, what it leaves out of the headline, and what the same order costs at Anytime Capital.
- Gate: card purchases routed to third-party processors whose fee and spread are shown only inside the partner's checkout; not available to a U.S. customer on the global platform
- Trading: 0.1% spot maker and taker at VIP 0, with a fee-structure update effective April 9, 2026 that makes the account-level page the only reliable source
- Anytime Capital cards from 4%, shown in full before you pay

Published fee percentages on a debit or credit card order
Gate does not sell crypto for a card payment directly: card purchases routed to third-party processors whose fee and spread are shown only inside the partner's checkout; not available to a U.S. customer on the global platform. Anytime Capital card pricing starts from 4% and is shown in full before you confirm, excluding network fees. As of September 2026.
What Gate charges, in order
Gate's published spot fee is 0.1% for makers and takers at VIP 0, dropping with 30-day volume and GT holdings, and futures start around 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker. Some third-party reviews quote 0.2% at the base tier, and Gate announced a fee-structure update effective April 9, 2026, so the fee page inside your own account is the only figure worth trusting. Crypto deposits are free. Withdrawals carry a per-coin network fee that Gate sets, and it moves.
Buying with a card on the global platform is a hand-off to a third-party processor whose fee and spread appear only inside the partner's checkout. Gate US launched in August 2025 with crypto deposits only, so an American in a covered state could trade but could not buy with dollars at launch. That is the number that matters to someone typing "Gate fees" from the United States: there is no published card fee because there is no card rail.
Anytime Capital's card, Apple Pay and Google Pay pricing starts from 4% with the spread included, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm, and larger orders go through an OTC desk against a same-day wire. On a $1,000 card order that is from $40 all in. Gate's schedule is a price on the trade after the funding, and no number at all for the funding itself.
Network fees, spread, and the number that matters
Both platforms add the blockchain network fee to send your coins. What differs is how the price is presented. Gate's schedule is spread across trading, deposit and withdrawal lines. Anytime Capital shows one number for what you pay and one for what you receive. The second number is the only one worth comparing: screenshot both checkouts on the same $1,000 order and look at how much crypto lands.
A front door, not a chat window
Gate is built to be used through a screen. We are built to be visited. Bring cash, bring questions, or bring a problem another platform could not solve.

The rails where the fee question barely applies
Gate has no cash rail at any price and no domestic wire desk. At Anytime Capital, cash in the Atlanta branch and cash by mail are priced like any other order, and wires for larger amounts are handled by the OTC desk with a locked quote. For a customer moving real size, a wire costs a fraction of any card rail, at Gate or anywhere else.
