Kraken has two fee schedules, and which one you land on decides what you pay. Kraken Pro charges 0.40% to take liquidity and 0.25% to add it at the base tier, with both numbers falling as 30-day volume rises, down to 0.12% and 0.02% above $5 million. ACH deposits and withdrawals are free. Wire fees vary by banking partner but are modest. Those numbers apply to a limit order placed inside an already funded account.
The Kraken app is a different product with a different price. An Instant Buy carries a 1% trade fee and a spread that Kraken says depends on transaction size, asset, payment method and market conditions. Paying by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay adds a processing fee that independent reviews put at about 3.75%. Kraken+ waives the 1% on app trades for a monthly subscription, but the processing fee and the spread remain. Kraken does not publish the spread as a fixed number, which is why two customers can report very different all-in costs.
Anytime Capital's card pricing starts from 4% with the spread already inside the quote, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm, and a same-day wire through the OTC desk for larger amounts. On a $1,000 card order that is from $40 here against roughly $47.50 plus spread on the Kraken app. On a $20,000 order the OTC desk settles by same-day wire and comes with a named contact, where Kraken Pro by ACH means waiting for the transfer and working the order book yourself.
