Quick answer
Which is better, Coinmama or Anytime Capital?
For most buyers, Anytime Capital is the better fit: card pricing starts from 4% with the spread included, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm, where a new Coinmama customer pays a 3.90% commission plus a 4.99% card fee before spread. Anytime Capital sells to customers wherever they are and adds same-day wire, ACH, Cash App, an OTC desk, a phone line, an FDIC-insured cash account with a debit card, cash in Atlanta or by mail, and two offices. Coinmama is the stronger choice only if you want a standalone broker that sends every order to a wallet address you type in and does nothing else.

- Coinmama
Coinmama: a commission of 3.90% for new customers, falling to 0.99% at the top loyalty tier, plus a 4.99% card express fee, plus the network fee and a rate spread; a first-time card buyer pays 8.89% before spread (5.98%–8.89%). Anytime Capital: from 4%, shown in full before you confirm. Both exclude blockchain network fees. Published schedules as of September 2026; confirm your exact quote in each checkout.
What Coinmama is, and what it is not
Coinmama was founded in 2013 by Nimrod Gruber, Laurence Newman and Ilan Schuster, which makes it one of the oldest crypto brokers still running. The team sits in Ramat Gan, Israel; the operating company, Cmama Ltd., is registered in Dublin and is part of the New Bit Ventures group. The model has barely changed in a decade: pick a coin, enter the wallet address you want it sent to, pay by card, and the coins go out. Coinmama never holds them, which is a genuine point in its favor.
It is a broker, not an exchange and not a widget. There is no order book, no custodial balance and no embedding inside other apps, so when you use Coinmama you are on coinmama.com and dealing with Coinmama. In the United States it operates as a FinCEN-registered money services business in 48 states, excluding New York and Louisiana, and it does not publish a list of state money transmitter licenses of its own. Support is email and a business-hours chat.
Anytime Capital is a U.S. company that sells to customers worldwide, with a storefront on Piedmont Road in Atlanta, an office in Miami's One Biscayne Tower, a phone number that reaches a person, and nine ways to pay, including cash and same-day wire. Like Coinmama it delivers to a wallet you control. Unlike Coinmama it has a front door.
Fees: a commission plus a card fee, versus from 4% with the total on screen
Coinmama's fee page has two parts, and the headline is the smaller one. The commission runs from 3.90% for a new customer down to 0.99% at the top loyalty tier; the tiers require $5,000 of purchases in 90 days for a 12.5% discount and $18,000 in 90 days, or $50,000 lifetime, for 25%. On top of the commission, card and Apple Pay orders carry a 4.99% express fee. A first-time card buyer therefore pays 8.89% before the network fee and before the rate spread, which Coinmama builds into the quoted coin price rather than listing. Independent tests have put the all-in cost above 10%.
Anytime Capital pricing starts from 4% with the spread included on the same kind of order, with one number for what you pay and one for what you receive. On a $1,000 card order that is from $40 here against $88.90 at Coinmama for a new customer, before spread. Even at Coinmama's best loyalty tier the card order costs 5.98%. On a $10,000 order Anytime Capital would move you to a same-day wire through the OTC desk, where the card fee question disappears.
Coinmama's bank transfer option drops the 4.99% card fee, though it carries a higher minimum, settles more slowly and is not ACH. The rails it does not offer at any price are ACH, Cash App, domestic wire on demand and cash, which are the ones a customer reaches for when a card is declined.

Ways to pay: nine rails versus cards and a bank transfer
Coinmama in the United States is a card site: Visa and Mastercard credit and debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a bank transfer option that carries a higher minimum and is aimed at larger orders. That covers a customer whose card clears. It does not cover someone whose bank blocks crypto card purchases, which is common on credit cards, or someone who wants to pay from a checking account by ACH, or anyone holding cash.
Anytime Capital accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit and credit cards, ACH, domestic wire, Cash App, cash in person at the Atlanta branch, and cash by mail from anywhere in the country. Wires settle the same business day. If one rail is blocked, eight others are waiting, and a person on the phone can tell you which one will clear fastest.

Support: a 48-hour inbox versus a phone number
Coinmama's Trustpilot profile sits around 3.6 out of 5 across roughly 880 reviews, which is a mixed score for a broker this old. The praise is for simplicity and for coins arriving in the customer's own wallet. The complaints are about cost and about waiting: an all-in fee far above the 3.90% headline once the card fee and spread landed, an account closed after verification with a refund that took weeks, a Level 2 review that sat for days, and an email that took two days to answer. Coinmama itself says replies typically take 24 to 48 hours and that chat is not around the clock.
At Anytime Capital you can call (470) 748-2530 during business hours and reach someone who can see your order. You can email. You can drive to 2549 Piedmont Road NE and sort it out across a desk. For larger orders the OTC desk gives you a named contact from quote to settlement.
More than a checkout: the account that comes with it
Coinmama's purest strength is also its limit: it sends coins to your wallet and stops. There is no balance, no card and no way to spend what you sold without a bank payout. Selling to Coinmama exists for some coins and markets, with its own fee and a bank transfer out.
Anytime Capital customers get an FDIC-insured cash account with a free virtual debit card, a non-custodial wallet, and buy and sell in the same app. Selling Bitcoin on a Tuesday and spending the dollars on Wednesday does not involve a payout wait. More than 8,000 trades have gone through that process.
When Coinmama is the right call
Choose Coinmama if you want a standalone broker that has never held customer coins, sends every order straight to a wallet address you type in, and has been doing exactly that since 2013. It is a fair choice for a buyer who wants nothing more than that one function and is content with email and business-hours chat.
For anyone, wherever you are, choosing one place to buy, hold, sell and spend, with card pricing from 4% with the spread included, nine ways to pay and a person to call when a card is declined, start below.
