Quick answer
Which is better, Bybit or Anytime Capital?
For a U.S. resident there is no comparison to make: Bybit lists the United States as an excluded jurisdiction, holds no U.S. licenses, blocks U.S. IP addresses, and closes accounts that reach KYC with a U.S. document. Anytime Capital is a licensed U.S. money services business serving customers worldwide, with card pricing from 4% with the spread included, nine payment methods including cash and same-day wire, an OTC desk, a phone line, a branch, an FDIC-insured cash account with a virtual debit card, and delivery to a wallet you control. Bybit is the right choice only if what you want is leveraged derivatives trading on a deep order book, and only where it serves you.

Card pricing at Anytime Capital, where Bybit has no card rail
Published fee percentages on a debit or credit card order
Bybit does not sell crypto for a card payment directly: card purchases are routed through third-party providers whose fees vary by provider, card and country, typically a few percent plus a spread; not available to U.S. customers. Anytime Capital card pricing starts from 4% and is shown in full before you confirm, excluding network fees. As of September 2026.
What Bybit is, and why it is not for Americans
Bybit was founded in 2018 by Ben Zhou, moved its headquarters from Singapore to Dubai in 2022, and built itself into one of the largest exchanges in the world by derivatives volume, with hundreds of spot pairs, perpetual futures, options and a card program across more than 160 countries. It is licensed by Dubai's VARA and, since May 2025, under the EU's MiCA regime through an Austrian entity headquartered in Vienna. In February 2025 it suffered the largest theft in crypto history, about $1.5 billion in ETH taken by North Korea's Lazarus Group through a compromised wallet interface, and it kept withdrawals open and covered customer balances in full.
None of that is available to an American. Bybit lists the United States as an excluded jurisdiction, holds no FinCEN registration and no state money transmitter licenses, blocks U.S. IP addresses, and since removing its no-KYC tier requires identity verification on every account, at which point a U.S. passport or driver's license ends the process. Accounts opened through a VPN are closed when they reach verification, and any balance inside is subject to Bybit's withdrawal procedures for restricted users. The United States is simply not a market Bybit serves.
Anytime Capital is the opposite case: an American money services business serving customers worldwide, with a storefront on Piedmont Road in Atlanta, an office in Miami's One Biscayne Tower, a phone number, (470) 748-2530, that reaches a person, and nine ways to pay, including cash and same-day wire. Coins are delivered to a non-custodial wallet you control, and it does not offer leverage. For a U.S. resident looking at Bybit, that is not a trade-off. It is the only side of the comparison that exists.
Fees: a tiered trading schedule and third-party cards, versus one all-in number
Bybit's spot schedule starts at 0.10% for both makers and takers at the base tier and falls through VIP levels, with lower rates on derivatives and a separate, higher schedule for crypto-to-fiat pairs. Crypto withdrawals carry a per-coin fee that Bybit sets. Card purchases are routed to third-party providers such as Mercuryo and others, each with its own fee, typically a few percent plus a spread, and Bybit runs periodic promotions that waive the provider fee in selected countries. There is no U.S. dollar bank rail, because there are no U.S. customers.
Anytime Capital's card pricing starts from 4% with the spread already inside the quote, so a $1,000 card order is from $40, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm. For larger orders the OTC desk quotes a same-day wire with a named contact. That is one all-in number for buying crypto with money, wherever you are, against a trading schedule for a product a U.S. resident cannot use and a third-party card rail whose fee is set by the provider.
Wherever you are, the two sell different things. Bybit sells leveraged and spot trading on an order book to customers in the countries it serves. Anytime Capital sells crypto for money, with the full price shown before you confirm, and it serves customers in the United States and worldwide.

Ways to pay: nine rails versus none for U.S. residents
Bybit's fiat options depend on region and provider: cards through third parties, bank transfers in supported currencies, and peer-to-peer trading in many countries. For a U.S. resident every one of those is closed. There is no ACH, no U.S. wire, no U.S. card processing, and no way to fund an account that Bybit will let you keep.
Anytime Capital accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit and credit cards, ACH, wire, Cash App, cash in person at the Atlanta branch, and cash by mail, and it serves customers wherever they are. Wires settle the same business day. If one rail is blocked by your bank, there are eight others.

Support: 24/7 chat in Dubai, versus a phone number in Atlanta
Bybit's Trustpilot profile sits around 3.3 out of 5 across more than 7,500 reviews, which is respectable for a global exchange, and its handling of the 2025 theft earned it real credit. The praise is for liquidity, the app, the published schedule, and keeping withdrawals open under pressure. The complaints are the familiar custodial ones, frozen accounts and slow resolutions, plus a category specific to Bybit: Americans who signed up through a VPN and lost access at KYC. There is no phone line anywhere, and no U.S. presence at all.
At Anytime Capital you can call (470) 748-2530 during business hours and reach someone who can see your order. You can email. You can drive to 2549 Piedmont Road NE in Atlanta and sort it out across a desk. For larger orders the OTC desk gives you a named contact from quote to settlement.
More than an exchange: the account that comes with it
Bybit's Bybit Card and its earn products are, again, not available in the U.S. Anytime Capital customers get an FDIC-insured cash account with a free virtual debit card, a non-custodial wallet, and buy and sell in the same app, so selling Bitcoin and spending the dollars is one login. Because the coins are delivered to a wallet you control, there is no exchange balance to freeze, and no exchange hot wallet to be the target of the next $1.5 billion theft.
When Bybit is the right call
Choose Bybit if what you want is leveraged perpetual futures or options on one of the deepest derivatives order books in the world, under a MiCA or VARA license. It is one of the most capable exchanges anywhere for that customer. If you are a U.S. resident, Bybit is not available to you, and a VPN will not change that once you reach verification. To buy with a card, cash or wire today, with a person to call, wherever you are, start below.
