Quick answer
Which is better, HTX or Anytime Capital?
For a U.S. resident, HTX is not available: its user agreement lists the United States among the jurisdictions prohibited from all services, verification with a U.S. ID fails, and there is no U.S. affiliate. Anytime Capital serves customers wherever they are, the U.S. included, with card pricing from 4% and the spread included, cash in branch or by mail, same-day wire, an OTC desk, a phone line, a non-custodial wallet and an FDIC-insured cash account with a free virtual debit card. HTX is the stronger choice only for a trader it will accept who wants its USDT and TRON liquidity and a custodial futures and margin suite.

Published fee percentages on a debit or credit card order
HTX does not sell crypto for a card payment directly: card purchases routed to third-party processors whose fee and spread appear only inside the partner's checkout; not available to a U.S. customer. Anytime Capital card pricing starts from 4% and is shown in full before you confirm, excluding network fees. As of September 2026.
What HTX is, and how Huobi got here
Huobi launched in Beijing in 2013 and was, for a stretch, the largest exchange in China. The 2017 and 2021 Chinese crackdowns pushed it offshore, first to Singapore and then to a Seychelles registration, and in late 2022 founder Leon Li sold his controlling stake to About Capital, an investment firm associated with TRON founder Justin Sun, who took an advisory role. On September 13, 2023, its tenth anniversary, Huobi Global rebranded to HTX: the H for Huobi, the T for TRON, the X for exchange. It lists 500-plus spot assets, runs futures and margin, and is deepest in USDT and TRON-ecosystem tokens.
The rebrand year was also the hack year. In September 2023 about $8 million left an HTX hot wallet; in November 2023 another $30 million was taken, and a bridge HTX had built for its HECO chain lost more than $85 million in a linked exploit. HTX suspended deposits and withdrawals, promised to cover the losses, and saw roughly $258 million in net outflows in the weeks after. It reopened, and no customer loss from those events was left uncovered as far as we can verify, but they are part of the record.
The United States is not part of the customer base. HTX's user agreement lists the U.S. among the jurisdictions prohibited from using all of its services, U.S. IDs fail verification, and there is no U.S. affiliate. Anytime Capital takes that customer, and everyone else: an American company that serves customers worldwide, with a storefront on Piedmont Road in Atlanta, an office in One Biscayne Tower in Miami, a phone number that reaches a person, and every rail you are likely to use, including cash and same-day wire.
Fees: a trading schedule and a partner card rail, versus from 4% on screen
HTX's base spot fee is 0.2% for makers and takers, which is double the 0.1% that Binance, Bitget, KuCoin and Gate charge at their base tiers. Paying fees in HTX token brings it down, and VIP tiers lower it further with volume. Futures are priced on a separate schedule. Crypto deposits are free. Withdrawals carry a per-coin network fee set by HTX.
Buying with a card is a hand-off to third-party processors, and the fee and spread appear only inside the partner's checkout. There is no published card rate on HTX's own fee page. The P2P marketplace lets users trade fiat for crypto at each other's prices, and it is also where several of the longest-running frozen-account complaints in HTX's reviews come from.
Anytime Capital's card, Apple Pay and Google Pay pricing starts from 4% with the spread included, one all-in number, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm. It is the price of a dollar-to-crypto purchase, a product HTX does not sell to a U.S. resident at any price. For larger amounts the OTC desk quotes directly against a same-day wire.

Ways to pay: nine rails versus a prohibited-jurisdictions list
Outside the United States, HTX accepts cards through partners, some local bank transfers, and a P2P marketplace. Inside the United States it accepts nothing, because the account cannot be opened. There is no ACH, no U.S. wire, no cash, and no U.S. affiliate.
Anytime Capital accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit and credit cards, ACH, domestic wire, Cash App, cash in person at the Atlanta branch, and cash by mail from anywhere in the country. Wires settle the same business day. If one rail is blocked by your bank, there are eight others.

Support: a chat that connects and a ticket that does not resolve, versus a phone number
HTX runs 24/7 live chat, tickets and email, and no phone line. Its Trustpilot profile is small, around 70 reviews, and sits at 1.4 out of 5 with nearly nine in ten at one star. The praise, where it exists, is for a long history and fast problem-solving from a few long-term users. The complaints are the heaviest in this set: P2P and spot accounts frozen for months or years, withdrawals blocked after easy deposits, automated replies with no follow-up, and refusals to delete accounts on request.
At Anytime Capital you can call (470) 748-2530 during business hours and reach someone who can see your order. You can email. You can drive to 2549 Piedmont Road NE and sort it out across a desk. For larger orders the OTC desk gives you a named contact from quote to settlement.
More than an exchange balance: the account that comes with it
HTX is custodial: your coins sit in its hot and cold wallets until you withdraw them, which is why the 2023 hacks were HTX's losses to cover rather than yours to absorb, and why a frozen account means your money is stuck. Anytime Capital delivers to a non-custodial wallet, so the crypto is yours the moment it lands, and adds an FDIC-insured cash account with a free virtual debit card. Sell Bitcoin and spend the dollars the next day, without a wire to a third bank.
When HTX is the right call
Choose HTX if it will accept you, you trade heavily in USDT or TRON-ecosystem tokens where its liquidity is deepest, and you are comfortable holding a custodial balance on an exchange with a 2023 hack history, concentrated ownership and a 1.4 Trustpilot score. Nobody in the United States can choose it. For one place to buy, hold, sell and spend, wherever you are, with a phone number and a front door, start below.
