What Slash is built for instead
Slash's strength is many cards and sub-accounts sliced by campaign, client or storefront, for operators who need spend kept attributable. Slash describes itself as a financial technology company, not a bank, with banking services from Column N.A. None of that is a reason to leave it if it is working for you.
What it does not do is take a customer's payment into the account. Slash supports invoicing, but we found no card-acquiring product: customers' cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are taken by a separate processor, which pays out to the Slash account on its own schedule.
