Quick answer
Which is better, Pionex or Anytime Capital?
For anyone who wants to buy crypto and hold it, Anytime Capital is the better fit: nine payment rails including cash and same-day wire, card pricing from 4% with the spread included, a phone line, an OTC desk, an FDIC-insured cash account with a debit card, and a non-custodial wallet. Pionex is the better fit if what you actually want is to run grid, DCA or arbitrage bots inside an exchange account, provided you live in a state Pionex.US serves. Its public reviews are dominated by withdrawal holds and KYC rejections, so fund it with money you do not need this week.

Ways to pay: Pionex vs Anytime Capital
Payment methods live for a customer today
- Anytime Capital
- Pionex
Anytime Capital: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Debit card, Credit card, ACH bank transfer, Wire transfer, Cash App, Cash in branch, Cash by mail, each priced as one all-in number from 4% on card orders with the spread included. Pionex: 1 of those rails, priced card purchases run through third-party processors such as Banxa and Simplex, with reported fees between about 2.6% and 4.5% depending on processor and region, plus the processor's own spread, with a per-coin network fee set by Pionex, which varies by chain. Both exclude blockchain network fees. As of September 2026.
What Pionex is, and what it is not
Pionex launched in 2019 out of Singapore with one idea: put the trading bots that hedge funds pay for inside a retail exchange and give them away. Today it ships sixteen of them, grid, DCA, arbitrage, rebalancing and more, sitting in the same panel as the buy and sell buttons. It lists more than 400 coins on the global platform and charges a flat 0.05% on both sides of a spot trade, with nothing extra for running a bot. That combination is why it has a loyal following among people who want to automate a strategy without learning an API.
The American version is a different product. Pionex.US is a separate entity that registered with FinCEN as a money services business in April 2020 and has been collecting state money transmitter licenses since. It carries a shorter coin list, funds by ACH, and reportedly does not serve New York, Alaska, Hawaii or the U.S. territories. If you are reading this from Georgia or Florida, Pionex.US is the platform you would actually sign up for, and it is the one this page compares.
Anytime Capital was built for a different job. It is a U.S. company that sells to customers worldwide, with a storefront at 2549 Piedmont Road NE in Atlanta, an office in Miami, a phone number that reaches a person, and nine ways to pay, including cash and same-day wire. It does not run bots. It sells you the coin, delivers it to a wallet you control, and gives you a bank account and debit card to cash out into. The two platforms overlap on "buy Bitcoin" and almost nowhere else.
Fees: a trading schedule and a processor's card fee, versus one all-in number
Pionex's trading schedule is simple: a flat 0.05% maker and taker fee on spot, with no VIP ladder and no separate bot fee. That is a trading fee, and it applies to crypto that is already inside the exchange.
The cost that matters for a first purchase is the one Pionex does not control. Card purchases are handed to third-party processors such as Banxa and Simplex, and the fee those processors charge is reported between about 2.6% and 4.5% depending on the processor and your region, before the spread they build into the quote. The rate is set by whoever the widget picks that day, not by Pionex, and it is shown to you inside a pop-up rather than on a fee page. On Pionex.US the free option is ACH, with a rolling 10-day limit reported at $2,000 for new accounts and $5,000 once you have history.
Anytime Capital's card pricing starts from 4% with the spread included, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm, and there is no processor line underneath it. ACH, wire and cash are priced the same way. It is one all-in number against a processor's fee plus a processor's spread, and on a $20,000 order Anytime Capital would rather you wire it the same day through the OTC desk, which Pionex.US does not have at any price.

Ways to pay: nine rails versus ACH and a widget
Funding Pionex.US means linking a bank account for ACH, waiting for it to settle, and living inside the rolling deposit limit, or clicking through to a third-party card processor with its own KYC. There is no cash rail, no documented domestic wire, and no Cash App. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear only when the processor offers them. If your bank blocks crypto ACH pulls, which some do, you are stuck.
Anytime Capital accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit and credit cards, ACH, domestic wire, Cash App, cash in person at the Atlanta branch, and cash by mail from anywhere in the United States. Wires settle the same business day. It sells to customers worldwide, with the branch and the cash rails as extras for anyone who can reach Atlanta or a U.S. mailbox. If one rail is blocked by your bank, there are eight others, and a person on the phone who can tell you which one to use.

Support: a ticket queue for a frozen withdrawal, versus a phone number
Pionex's Trustpilot profile sits around 2.5 out of 5 across roughly 600 reviews, and the pattern is consistent. Five-star reviews praise the bots and the app. One-star reviews describe a withdrawal blocked for a "security concern" until a second KYC level is passed, an account frozen for "high risk transactions" with no deadline, or a KYC submission rejected several times with the same form email. Pionex says it aims to resolve withdrawal problems within 24 hours, and its support does reply, but the reply comes by chat or email and nobody can be called.
At Anytime Capital you can call (470) 748-2530 during business hours and reach someone who can see your order. You can email. You can drive to the Atlanta branch and sort it out across a desk. For larger orders the OTC desk gives you a named contact from quote to settlement, which is the opposite of a ticket number.
Custody and the account that comes with it
Pionex is custodial. Your coins sit in Pionex's wallets, which is what makes the bots possible and is also why a compliance flag can lock your balance. Withdrawing means paying a per-coin network fee and, on Pionex.US, having cleared the higher KYC level first. There is no bank account on the other side, so cashing out means an ACH back to your bank and a wait.
Anytime Capital delivers what you buy to a non-custodial wallet you control, and pairs it with an FDIC-insured cash account and a free virtual debit card. Sell Bitcoin on Tuesday and the dollars are spendable from the same app, without a second company, a second KYC or a wire in between. More than 8,000 trades have gone through the platform that way.
When Pionex is the right call
Choose Pionex if the thing you actually want is automation: a grid bot on a volatile pair, a DCA bot you set and forget, or an arbitrage bot on futures, all inside an exchange account with no subscription, and you live in a state Pionex.US serves. Fund it with money you can leave there, because the public record on withdrawal holds is not flattering. For anyone choosing the one place to buy, hold, sell and spend, with cash and wire on the table and a person to call, start below.
