Brex's position on crypto, in its own words

On September 30, 2025 Brex announced stablecoin payments, starting with USDC: accepting stablecoins with automatic conversion to dollars, sending them from USD balances and paying card balances in them. We could not confirm general availability as of October 2026, and Brex does not offer trading or custody of bitcoin, ether or other assets.

Brex is a spend-management platform: corporate cards, expense policy, reimbursements, travel and a business account, and a Capital One company since April 7, 2026, and its digital-asset product is built around that: holding or moving digital dollars beside outgoing spend.

What a business crypto account needs to do

Take a customer's USDC or USDT without a separate exchange login, hold it in a wallet whose keys the business controls, pay a supplier or contractor on-chain the same day, and turn any of it back into dollars in the business bank account when the books need it.

Can I buy bitcoin with Brex?

No. Brex does not offer trading in bitcoin, ether or other crypto assets. Anytime Capital buys and sells 38+ assets for businesses at desk-quoted rates.

Does Brex support USDC?

Is crypto in a business account FDIC insured?

No. Cryptocurrency and stablecoin balances are not FDIC insured and are not bank deposits, at any provider. Their value can fall as well as rise.

How do customers pay a business in USDC or USDT?

The business sends a payment request with its wallet address on Ethereum, Solana or Tron; the customer pays it from their own wallet, and the business can hold the coins, send them on or convert them to dollars.

Is Anytime Capital a bank?

No. Anytime Capital is a fintech company, not a bank. Banking, card, payment processing and payout services are provided by Anytime Capital's licensed partners.
