In short
Can I sell crypto and receive a wire transfer?
Yes. Open a sell order on Anytime Capital, choose Wire, and enter your bank's wire routing number and your account number. Send the crypto to the order's deposit address. Once it is confirmed, we send a domestic wire through Fedwire, which settles to your bank the same business day. Larger orders can also be priced by our OTC desk.

Choose Wire under Get paid by and enter your bank's details. The routing number is checked as you type, so a wrong digit shows up before the order opens.

How it works
Three steps, from any wallet
- 01
Choose what you sell and how you're paid
Pick the coin and amount, then your country and the account or wallet the money goes to. The details are checked as you type.
- 02
Send the crypto
Send to the deposit address made for your order, from any wallet, or sell in one tap from your Anytime Capital wallet.
- 03
Get paid
Once the deposit confirms, dollars go to your bank by domestic wire, settled the same business day.
Before you start
What you need
- 01Your bank's routing number for wires (some banks use a different one than for ACH).
- 02Your account number and account type.
- 03The name on the account and your address, which a wire names as the beneficiary.
- 04A verified Anytime Capital account.
Why a wire for a large sale
A Fedwire transfer moves in real time between banks and is final once settled: there is no ACH batch and no return window. That certainty is why wires are the usual way to settle large amounts, and why most sellers above five or six figures choose one.
Wires move on Federal Reserve business days. A payout sent on a Friday afternoon or a federal holiday settles on the next business day.
Check your wire routing number
Some banks publish a separate routing number for incoming wires. Use the one your bank lists for domestic wires; the form validates its check digit and shows the bank it belongs to.
Very large orders: the OTC desk
For block-size sales, our OTC desk can quote a firm price before you send, so the amount you're paid doesn't move while the coins confirm. See the OTC page to talk to the desk.
What the beneficiary details are for
A domestic wire names its beneficiary: the account holder's name and address travel with the payment, and your bank checks them against the account. That's why the form asks for your address as well as your bank details.
Some banks charge to receive an incoming wire. That charge, if any, is your bank's and is set by your account terms.
Wire transfer payouts: questions
How fast does a wire arrive?
Domestic wires settle through Fedwire the same business day they are sent. On weekends and federal holidays they settle on the next business day.
Is my wire routing number the same as my ACH routing number?
Not always. Check your bank's site or app for the number it lists for incoming domestic wires.
Do you pay international wires?
Yes, by SWIFT in US dollars or euros. If your country has a local rail, such as SEPA, PIX or SPEI, a local payout is usually better.
Is there a maximum I can sell?
Order limits depend on your verification level; they are listed on the fees and limits page. Larger orders go through the OTC desk.
Does my bank charge to receive a wire?
Some banks do, depending on the account. Check your bank's fee schedule for incoming domestic wires.
