Who can open an Anytime Capital business account?
The short answer
Any business registered in the United States: LLCs, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits and sole proprietors with a tax ID. You will need an owner or officer who can verify their identity, and if any owner lives outside the US they can still be added with a passport and a second government ID.
Business checking is opening state by state, so if it is not available in your state yet we will tell you during the application and reach out the moment it is. Payments and crypto are available everywhere in the US from day one.
A little more detail
A few specifics people ask about:
- Brand-new companies: yes. You do not need revenue, a minimum deposit or time in business. Formation documents and a tax ID are enough.
- Sole proprietors: yes, with your tax ID and proof of address.
- Nonprofits and associations: yes, with your formation documents and the people who control the organization.
- Owners outside the US: welcome. Each one adds a passport and a second government ID. The business itself must be US-registered.
- Multiple businesses: open one account per entity and switch between them from the account switcher in your dashboard.
If you are not sure your business fits, start the application anyway. It names anything that is missing, step by step, and our team can answer questions in live chat while you fill it in.
