Business Help Center
What do I need to open a business account?
The short answer
Not much. Have these to hand and the application takes about ten minutes:
- Your business's legal name, address and tax ID (EIN).
- Formation documents: articles or a certificate of incorporation, or a state registry excerpt.
- The name, date of birth and government ID of each owner with 25% or more, and of one person who controls the business.
- Proof of business address dated within the last three months: a utility bill, lease, bank statement or tax return.
- Your IRS EIN letter (CP 575 or 147C).
That is it. Documents upload straight from your phone or laptop, up to 4 MB each, and if you have already verified your own identity with Anytime Capital, your details fill in for you.
A little more detail
A couple of helpful notes:
- Ownership: list everyone who owns 25% or more. If no one does, you still add one person who runs the business day to day.
- Owners outside the US: a passport plus a second government ID.
- Optional: a certificate of good standing. It is not required, but it can speed up a review for older companies.
- Something missing? The application tells you exactly which field or document, and which step it belongs to, so a fix takes minutes rather than an email back and forth.
Once you are approved, card payments switch on in one click with your business details already filled in, and your account, cards and crypto are ready to use.
