Is Anytime Capital a bank?
The short answer
No. Anytime Capital is a fintech company, not a bank. Banking, card, payment processing and payout services are provided by our licensed partners, and each product's terms are shown at sign-up.
What you get is, we think, the best banking platform a business can have: checking with account and routing numbers, payment processing, virtual and physical cards, global transfers to 71+ countries and crypto, all on one balance. People sometimes search for "Anytime Capital Bank", and that is the honest answer: a fintech company, not a bank, with everything you would want one for, in one place.
A little more detail
What "a fintech company, not a bank" means in practice:
- Your dollar balances are held with our licensed banking partners. The account agreement you accept at sign-up names the partner for each product and spells out how your funds are protected.
- Your account and routing numbers work exactly as they would anywhere else: receive ACH, wires, RTP and FedNow in your business's own name, and pay out by the same rails.
- Anytime Capital is a FinCEN-registered money services business, with real branches in Atlanta, Miami and Houston and a US-based support team.
- Crypto and stablecoins are never bank deposits, are not FDIC-insured and can lose value. Your business crypto wallet is self-custody, so the keys stay with you.
Why we built it this way: a bank gives you an account. Anytime Capital gives you the account plus payment processing, cards, global payouts and crypto, with one login and one balance, and lets our partners do the part they are licensed for.
