In short
How do I sell crypto and receive euros by SEPA?
Open a sell order with Anytime Capital, choose Local and your country, and enter the IBAN of an account in your name. Send the crypto to the order's own deposit address. Once it is confirmed, the euros go to your IBAN over SEPA Instant, which lands in seconds when your bank receives instant payments and by the next business day over standard SEPA.

In the app
SEPA on the Sell page
Choose Local and your country under Get paid by, and the Sell page asks for exactly what your bank or wallet needs, checking the format as you type.

How it works
Three steps, from any wallet
- 01
Choose what you sell and how you're paid
Pick the coin and amount, then your country and the account or wallet the money goes to. The details are checked as you type.
- 02
Send the crypto
Send to the deposit address made for your order, from any wallet, or sell in one tap from your Anytime Capital wallet.
- 03
Get paid
Once the deposit confirms, EUR is paid to your account by SEPA (Instant – 1 business day).
Before you start
What you need
- 01The IBAN of an account in your own name (a German IBAN is 22 characters, a French one 27).
- 02The BIC, if your bank asks for it; most SEPA transfers no longer need one.
- 03The account holder's address and country of residence.
- 04A verified Anytime Capital account: identity verification is a legal requirement before any payout.
One rail, thirty-one countries
SEPA, the Single Euro Payments Area, lets a euro transfer reach any participating bank with nothing more than an IBAN. That is why a seller in Madrid, Vienna or Tallinn is paid exactly the same way: there are no country-specific bank codes to look up.
Accounts in SEPA countries outside the euro area (Poland, Sweden, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, Norway, Switzerland and others) can still receive the payout in euros. Your bank either credits a euro account or converts on arrival under its own terms. In Denmark you can choose to be paid in Danish kroner instead.
SEPA Instant or standard SEPA
SEPA Instant Credit Transfer settles in seconds, around the clock, weekends included; the scheme's target is ten seconds end to end. Since 2025, banks in the euro area have been required to receive instant euro payments, so most sellers there see the money almost as soon as the payout is sent.
Where a bank doesn't take instant payments yet, the same payout travels as a standard SEPA credit transfer and arrives by the next business day. You don't have to pick: the payout goes out the fastest way your bank accepts.
Your name, your account
Payouts go only to an account held in the verified seller's own name. Many European banks now check the payee's name against the IBAN before crediting a transfer, so enter the name exactly as your bank has it. A mismatch can hold the payment for review.
- Paid to your IBAN, never to a third party
- Deposit address unique to each order
- Status of your order visible from your dashboard
Before you sell for euros
Check that the IBAN belongs to an account that can receive euro transfers from outside its own bank; current accounts at high-street banks and most app-based banks can. Savings or deposit accounts sometimes can't, and the payout would come back.
If you live in one SEPA country and bank in another, that's fine: a Spanish resident can be paid to a Belgian IBAN. Enter your own address as your residence, wherever it is, and the account's IBAN exactly as your bank shows it.
SEPA payouts: questions
Which countries can receive a SEPA payout?
All 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland: 31 countries in all. Any IBAN at a bank in one of them can receive euros.
My bank account is in Polish zloty. Can I still be paid?
Yes. The payout arrives in euros over SEPA; your bank credits a euro account if you have one, or converts the euros into zloty on arrival under its own exchange terms.
Is SEPA Instant available every day?
Yes. SEPA Instant runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including weekends and bank holidays. Standard SEPA transfers move on bank business days.
Do I need a BIC?
Usually not. SEPA transfers are routed by IBAN alone. The form has an optional BIC field for banks that still ask for one.
Which crypto can I sell for euros?
Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, Litecoin, TRON and the stablecoins USDT, USDC and DAI on the networks the sell page lists for each.
Can I be paid to an IBAN from an app-based bank?
Yes. IBANs issued by app-based banks and e-money institutions in SEPA countries receive SEPA transfers like any other, as long as the account is in your own name.
