Mobile money on the Sell page
Choose Local and your country under Get paid by, and the Sell page asks for exactly what your bank or wallet needs, checking the format as you type.

How it works
Three steps, from any wallet
- 01
Choose what you sell and how you're paid
Pick the coin and amount, then your country and the account or wallet the money goes to. The details are checked as you type.
- 02
Send the crypto
Send to the deposit address made for your order, from any wallet, or sell in one tap from your Anytime Capital wallet.
- 03
Get paid
Once the deposit confirms, your local currency is paid to your account by Mobile money (Varies).
Before you start
What you need
- 01Your mobile money provider, chosen from the list for your country.
- 02The phone number your wallet is registered to, in international format (+254…, +233…).
- 03The name your wallet is registered in, matching your verified identity.
- 04A verified Anytime Capital account.
Where mobile money is the bank
Across East and West Africa, and in parts of Asia and Latin America, more people hold money in a mobile wallet than in a bank account. A crypto payout should go where the money is actually used, so these countries can be paid straight to the wallet on their phone.
The payout arrives in local currency: Kenyan, Tanzanian or Ugandan shillings, Rwandan francs, Malawian or Zambian kwacha, Botswana pula, West or Central African CFA francs, Haitian gourdes, Ghanaian cedis, Bangladeshi taka, Pakistani rupees, Egyptian pounds or Colombian pesos.
The providers we pay
Choose your provider from the list for your country in the form. Among them:
- Kenya and Tanzania: M-PESA; Tanzania also Airtel Money
- Uganda, Rwanda and Zambia: MTN MoMo and Airtel Money
- Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin and Togo: Orange Money, Wave, MTN and Moov
- Ghana: MTN MoMo and AirtelTigo
- Bangladesh: bKash and Nagad · Pakistan: JazzCash and EasyPaisa
- Egypt: Vodafone Cash · Colombia: Nequi and Daviplata · El Salvador: Tigo Money
- China: Alipay and WeChat Pay, for individuals
Get the number right
Enter the number your wallet is registered to with the country code, the way the form shows it. The wallet must be registered in your own name: payouts are never made to someone else's wallet.
Registered in your name
Mobile money wallets are registered to a SIM and an identity document. The name on that registration must match your verified Anytime Capital account; a wallet registered to a family member's SIM can't receive your payout.
Some providers also hold incoming transfers above a wallet's tier until the holder upgrades their verification with the provider. If you sell regularly, check which tier your wallet is on.
Mobile money payouts: questions
Do I need a bank account to sell crypto?
Not in these countries. A mobile money wallet registered in your name is enough to receive the payout.
Can I sell USDT and receive M-PESA?
Yes. Sell USDT on TRC-20, ERC-20 or Solana, choose Kenya and M-PESA, and the payout is sent in Kenyan shillings to your M-PESA number.
My wallet has a daily limit. What happens?
Mobile money providers cap how much a wallet can receive or hold. Keep a payout within your wallet's limits, or choose a bank account where your country offers one.
Which countries can be paid to mobile money?
Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Haiti, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Colombia, El Salvador and China.
Can someone else receive the payout on their phone?
No. The wallet must be registered in the verified seller's own name.
My wallet is registered to a relative's SIM. Can I use it?
No. The wallet must be registered in your own name, the same name as your verified account.
