How it works
Three steps, from any wallet
- 01
Choose what you sell and how you're paid
Pick the coin and amount, then your country and the account or wallet the money goes to. The details are checked as you type.
- 02
Send the crypto
Send to the deposit address made for your order, from any wallet, or sell in one tap from your Anytime Capital wallet.
- 03
Get paid
Once the deposit confirms, INR is paid to your account by UPI (Instant by UPI, otherwise varies).
Before you start
What you need
- 01Your UPI ID (also called a VPA), such as name@okaxis, or
- 02Your bank account number and the branch's 11-character IFSC, for NEFT or RTGS.
- 03The name on the account, matching your verified identity.
- 04A verified Anytime Capital account.
UPI, NEFT or RTGS
UPI, run by NPCI, is the fastest way to receive: the payout lands in the account linked to your UPI ID in seconds. Banks set their own per-transaction UPI limits, so for a large sale choose a bank account instead.
With an account number and IFSC you can be paid by NEFT, which the Reserve Bank of India runs around the clock in half-hourly batches, or by RTGS for amounts of ₹2 lakh and above, settled individually in real time.
- UPI: seconds, within your bank's UPI limits
- NEFT: any amount, in the next half-hourly batch
- RTGS: ₹2 lakh and above, real-time
Checking your IFSC
An IFSC is 11 characters: four letters for the bank, a zero, then six characters for the branch. It is printed on your cheque book and shown in your banking app. The form checks the format before the order opens, so a typo doesn't turn into a returned payment.
Taxes on crypto in India
India taxes gains on virtual digital assets and applies TDS to many transfers. This is general information, not tax advice: keep your order history, which your dashboard lists, and check your obligations with a tax professional.
Which UPI apps work
Any UPI ID works, whichever app created it: the ID points at your bank account, not at the app. IDs from payment apps and from banks' own apps are equally fine, as long as the linked account is in your name.
For a bank-account payout, check the IFSC belongs to the branch that holds your account; branch mergers sometimes change it, and your bank's app always shows the current one.
UPI payouts: questions
What is a UPI ID?
It is the address of your UPI-linked account, written like name@bankhandle (for example priya@okaxis). You'll find it in your UPI app's profile.
Is UPI or a bank transfer better for a large amount?
For large amounts choose a bank account: NEFT has no upper limit and RTGS handles ₹2 lakh and above in real time, while UPI is subject to your bank's per-transaction limit.
Does NEFT work on Sundays?
Yes. NEFT has run 24×7 since December 2019, in half-hourly settlement batches.
Can I be paid to a joint account?
The account must be in your name. If your bank lists you as an account holder, enter your name exactly as it appears there.
Which crypto can I sell for rupees?
Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, Litecoin, TRON, USDT, USDC and DAI.
Does it matter which app my UPI ID is from?
No. A UPI ID routes to the bank account linked to it, whichever app issued it. The account must be in your own name.
