How much does it cost to accept card payments?
The short answer
2.75% + 30¢ per successful online card or wallet payment in the US, with no setup, monthly or PCI fees. New accounts pay 2.5% + 30¢ for their first 90 days of card payments, counted from the day card payments switch on. Businesses processing $1M+ a year get custom pricing.
As with every processor, cards issued outside the US, currency conversion and disputes can carry additional fees. They are listed in your dashboard before you take a payment, and pre-dispute alerts with automatic refunds help you avoid dispute fees in the first place.
