The Anytime Capital Payments app for Zapier connects your payments to the other tools you use, without code. Zaps start the moment something happens in your account, and can create payment links, invoices, customers and refunds for you.

> **Coming soon:** The app isn't in Zapier's app directory yet. This page shows what it will do; we'll let you know in your dashboard when it's available.

## Connect your account

1. In your Anytime Capital dashboard, open **Settings → Developers** and create an API key named **Zapier**.
2. In Zapier, add an Anytime Capital Payments step and choose **Sign in**. Paste the key (`ak_live_…`).
3. To build and try your Zaps without real money, connect with a test key (`ak_test_…`) made with **Test mode** on: the Zaps see your test data and test events only, and the [event simulator](https://anytime-capital.com/docs/test-mode.md#test-your-integration) fires **New Payment** and **Invoice Paid** on demand. Reconnect with a live key to go live.
4. To disconnect, revoke the key in **Settings → Developers**.

## Triggers

| Trigger | Starts when |
| --- | --- |
| New Payment | A customer pays you by card (`payment.succeeded`). |
| Payment Refunded | All or part of a payment is refunded (`payment.refunded`). `amountRefundedCents` is the total so far. |
| Invoice Paid | An invoice is paid in full (`invoice.paid`). |
| Subscription Created | A customer subscribes to a plan (`subscription.created`). |
| Subscription Canceled | A subscription ends (`subscription.canceled`). |
| New Customer | A customer is added to your customers. Checked every few minutes. |

Every trigger but New Customer is instant: turning the Zap on adds a webhook endpoint for its event in **Settings → Developers** (named "Zapier: …"), and turning it off removes it. Zapier checks each event's signature before using it. A business can have up to 10 webhook endpoints, and each instant Zap uses one.

## Actions and searches

| Step | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Create Payment Link | A payment link for an amount in US dollars, one-time or reusable, with an optional success URL and metadata. |
| Create & Send Invoice | An invoice with line items, tax and a due date, emailed to the customer to pay by card. |
| Create Customer | Adds a customer to your customers. |
| Create Refund | Refunds a payment in full, or the amount you enter. |
| Find Customer | Finds a customer by email; with **Find or Create**, adds them if there's none. |
| Find Payment | Finds a payment by its id (`pay_…`). |

Amounts are entered in dollars, like `125.50`, and sent to the API in cents. Refunds over your business's approval limit wait for an owner's approval, as they do from the API.

## Ideas

- New Payment → add a row to a spreadsheet, or a sale to your accounting app.
- A form submission → Create & Send Invoice.
- New deal won in your CRM → Create Payment Link → email the link.
- Payment Refunded → notify your team in chat.
