# Take payments on Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and other site builders

> Add a Pay button, the checkout or a payment link to Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, Framer, GoDaddy, Carrd, Ghost, Linktree or plain HTML, step by step.

Every way onto your website runs on a payment link: our Pay button opens the checkout in a window over your page, the checkout can sit inside a page, and any builder's own button or link can point at the checkout page. Card details are always entered on Anytime Capital's secure checkout, never on your site.

> **Let the dashboard write it:** In your dashboard, **Checkout tools → Add to your website** asks which builder you use, fills in your payment link and brand colour, shows only the options your builder allows, and has a **Test it** button and a prompt for your AI assistant.

## Before you start

- Make a **reusable** payment link under **Payment Links** (a one-time link closes after its first payment). Its price, quantity choices, discount codes and shipping all carry over.
- Try everything in **test mode** first: switch the dashboard to test mode, make a test link and paste its code. Test links take test cards only.
- Pick the option your plan allows. Every option works on phones.

## The code

Checkout tools fills these in for your link and colour. They're shown here for a sample link.

**Pay button (opens the checkout over your page)**

```html
<a href="https://anytime-capital.com/pay/business/pl_4kTz8QwN2xYb6RcD1mPa" data-anytime-pay="pl_4kTz8QwN2xYb6RcD1mPa" style="display:inline-block;padding:12px 24px;border-radius:8px;background:#2563EB;color:#FFFFFF;font-family:-apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,Segoe UI,Roboto,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:16px;font-weight:600;line-height:1.2;text-decoration:none;cursor:pointer">Pay $125.00</a>
<script async src="https://anytime-capital.com/embed/anytime-pay.js"></script>
```

**Checkout in the page**

```html
**Pay button with no script**
## Wix
> **Note:** Wix runs custom code in a box of its own, so a window over your page isn't possible there: use a Wix button, or the checkout in the page.
### Wix: button or link
Your own button, linked to your secure checkout page. Works on every plan.
1. In the Wix Editor, choose Add Elements (+) → Button and place a button on your page.
2. Choose Change Text and type what it says, such as "Pay now".
3. Choose the Link icon → Web Address and paste your payment link.
4. Choose to open it in a new tab if the builder offers it, so your page stays open.
5. Publish (or update) the page.
### Wix: checkout in the page
The checkout itself sits in your page and grows with its content.
1. In the Wix Editor, choose Add Elements (+) → Embed Code → Embed HTML.
2. Choose Enter Code, select Code, paste the code and choose Update.
3. Drag the box's bottom edge until it's at least 720 pixels tall.
4. Publish (or update) the page.
This builder shows custom code in a box of its own, so the checkout can't grow by itself: make the box at least 720 pixels tall. Apple Pay and Google Pay may not appear inside the box; cards always work there, and the checkout page a button opens shows every way to pay.
**AI prompt for Wix**
```text
I want to take payments on my Wix website with Anytime Capital, a fintech company, not a bank. Help me add a button or link that opens this payment link: <your payment link>

Walk me through it one click at a time. Use one of Wix's own buttons or links, set it to open this address (in a new tab if Wix offers it), and tell me where to find each setting.
Good to know: Wix runs custom code in a box of its own, so a window over your page isn't possible there: use a Wix button, or the checkout in the page.
Don't change the code or the link, and don't ask me for card details or passwords.
The full guide is at https://anytime-capital.com/docs/website-builders#wix
```
## Squarespace
> **Note:** Code blocks with scripts need a Squarespace Core, Plus or Advanced plan (or a Business or Commerce plan on older pricing). On a Basic or Personal plan, use a Button block.
### Squarespace: pay button
Customers pay in a secure window over your page, without leaving your site.
1. Edit the page, choose where the button goes and choose Add Block → Code.
2. Paste the code, make sure the block is set to HTML, then click outside the block.
3. Save the page. While you edit, Squarespace may show "Script disabled": the button works on the published page.
### Squarespace: checkout in the page
The checkout itself sits in your page and grows with its content.
1. Edit the page and choose Add Block → Code where the checkout should go.
2. Paste the code, make sure the block is set to HTML, then click outside the block.
3. Save the page and open the live page to see it.
### Squarespace: button or link
Your own button, linked to your secure checkout page. Works on every plan.
1. Edit the page and choose Add Block → Button.
2. Type the button text, then paste your payment link as the button's link.
3. Choose to open it in a new tab if the builder offers it, so your page stays open.
4. Save the page.
**AI prompt for Squarespace**
I want to take payments on my Squarespace website with Anytime Capital, a fintech company, not a bank. Help me add a Pay button that opens a secure checkout over my page. Here is the code from Anytime Capital:
<paste the code from Checkout tools here>
Walk me through it one click at a time. Check whether my Squarespace plan allows custom code first. If it doesn't, show me how to point one of Squarespace's own buttons at this link instead: <your payment link>
Good to know: Code blocks with scripts need a Squarespace Core, Plus or Advanced plan (or a Business or Commerce plan on older pricing). On a Basic or Personal plan, use a Button block.
Don't change the code or the link, and don't ask me for card details or passwords.
## Webflow
> **Note:** Custom code needs a paid Webflow Site plan or a paid Workspace plan to publish. On a free plan, link a Webflow button instead.
### Webflow: pay button
Customers pay in a secure window over your page, without leaving your site.
1. In the Designer, open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed where the button goes.
2. Paste the code and choose Save & Close.
3. Publish the site. Scripts run on the published site, not inside the Designer.
### Webflow: checkout in the page
The checkout itself sits in your page and grows with its content.
1. In the Designer, open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed where the checkout goes.
2. Paste the code and choose Save & Close.
3. Publish the site and open the published page to see it.
### Webflow: button or link
Your own button, linked to your secure checkout page. Works on every plan.
1. Add a Button from the Add panel and type its text.
2. In Element settings, under Link settings, choose URL and paste your payment link.
3. Choose to open it in a new tab if the builder offers it, so your page stays open.
4. Publish the site.
Good to know: Custom code needs a paid Webflow Site plan or a paid Workspace plan to publish. On a free plan, link a Webflow button instead.
Don't change the code or the link, and don't ask me for card details or passwords.
## WordPress
> **Note:** On WordPress.com, scripts in a Custom HTML block need a Business or Commerce plan; on lower plans the script is removed and the code stays a plain link to your checkout. Self-hosted WordPress: administrators can add it on any site. Selling with WooCommerce? Use our plugin instead.
### WordPress: pay button
Customers pay in a secure window over your page, without leaving your site.
1. Edit the page or post, choose + (Add block) and pick Custom HTML.
2. Paste the code into the block.
3. Choose Update or Publish.
### WordPress: checkout in the page
The checkout itself sits in your page and grows with its content.
1. Edit the page, choose + (Add block) and pick Custom HTML where the checkout goes.
2. Paste the code into the block.
3. Choose Update or Publish, then open the live page.
### WordPress: button or link
## Framer
> **Note:** Framer shows embedded code in a box of its own, so a window over your page isn't possible there: link a Framer button, or use the checkout in the page.
1. Select the button or text layer customers will click.
2. In the right panel, under Link, paste your payment link.
### Framer: checkout in the page
The checkout itself sits in your page and grows with its content.
2. In the Embed's properties choose HTML and paste the code.
3. Set the Embed's height to at least 720 pixels.
4. Publish (or update) the page.
This builder shows custom code in a box of its own, so the checkout can't grow by itself: make the box at least 720 pixels tall. Apple Pay and Google Pay may not appear inside the box; cards always work there, and the checkout page a button opens shows every way to pay.
2. Paste the code into Custom Code and choose Done.
3. If the section has a height setting, make it at least 720 pixels.
4. Publish (or update) the page.
This builder shows custom code in a box of its own, so the checkout can't grow by itself: make the box at least 720 pixels tall. Apple Pay and Google Pay may not appear inside the box; cards always work there, and the checkout page a button opens shows every way to pay.
## Your own HTML
### Your own HTML: pay button
Customers pay in a secure window over your page, without leaving your site.
1. Paste the code inside <body> where the button should appear.
2. With several buttons on one page, the script line is only needed once.
3. Deploy the page.
### Your own HTML: checkout in the page
1. Paste the code inside <body> where the checkout should appear.
2. It fits the width of its container: put it in a column about 480 pixels wide or more.
3. Deploy the page.
### Your own HTML: pay button (no script)
A styled link to your secure checkout page, with no script at all.
1. Paste the code where the button should appear.
2. Deploy the page.
### Your own HTML: button or link
The checkout page's address, for emails, messages and anything else.
1. Use the link anywhere a web address goes, or send customers to it from your own code.
**AI prompt for Your own HTML**
```text
I want to take payments on my website with Anytime Capital, a fintech company, not a bank. Help me add a Pay button that opens a secure checkout over my page. Here is the code from Anytime Capital:

The full guide is at https://anytime-capital.com/docs/website-builders#html
```
## Test it before customers do
1. Switch your dashboard to test mode and make a test payment link (or load sample data).
2. In **Checkout tools → Add to your website**, choose your builder and the test link, and paste the code or link where the steps say.
3. Open your published page and pay with the test card 4242 4242 4242 4242. Use any future expiry date and any three-digit security code.
4. Check the payment under **Orders** in test mode, then come back to live mode, choose your live link and replace the test code or link with it.
Checkout tools' **Test it** does the same without your site: in test mode it opens the Pay button over the dashboard, the checkout or the link exactly as customers will see them. See [Test mode](https://anytime-capital.com/docs/test-mode.md).
## For developers: what the embed needs
- The script loads from https://anytime-capital.com/embed/anytime-pay.js and places the checkout in a frame from https://anytime-capital.com/embed/pay/pl_…. If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy, add https://anytime-capital.com to script-src and frame-src.
- Our embedded checkout may be framed by any website; nothing to set up on our side.
- The frame asks for the Payment Request API (allow="payment *") so Apple Pay and Google Pay can show. A page whose Permissions-Policy turns payment off still takes cards.
- The inline checkout sizes itself from messages it accepts only from https://anytime-capital.com.
- Where a builder strips scripts, the code is still a plain link to your checkout page.
- Builders that put custom code in a box of their own (Wix, GoDaddy, Framer) keep the checkout inside that box: use their button, or the checkout in the page with a fixed height.
Prefill, your own order reference and the `anytime-pay:succeeded` event are covered in [Hosted checkout, Pay button and branding](https://anytime-capital.com/docs/checkout.md).
### The button opens the checkout page instead of a window over my site. Why?
Your builder removed the script, which some plans do. The button then works as a plain link to your checkout page, so customers can still pay. To get the window, use a plan that allows custom code, or keep the link.
### Nothing happens when I click the button in the editor.
Most builders don't run scripts while you edit. Publish the page and try the live page, or use **Test it** in Checkout tools.
### The checkout is cut off on Wix, GoDaddy or Framer.
Those builders show code in a box of their own that can't grow. Make the box at least 720 pixels tall, or use their own button linked to your payment link.
### Apple Pay or Google Pay doesn't show on my site.
Wallets need the browser's Payment Request API, which a builder's own box or your site's Permissions-Policy can block. Cards always work; the Pay button's window and the checkout page show every way to pay.
### Can I sell several products from one page?
Yes: make a payment link per product and add a button for each. With our Pay button, the script line is only needed once per page.
Anytime Capital is a fintech company, not a bank. Payment processing, banking and payout services are provided by Anytime Capital's licensed partners. Rates shown are for US card payments; international cards, currency conversion and disputes may carry additional fees shown in your dashboard before you accept a payment.
