# Customers API

> List your saved customers with the Anytime Capital Payments API, newest first, or find one by email address to match payments and invoices to them.

Customers are the clients saved on your **Customers** page in the dashboard. The API reads them: list them newest first, or find one by email. Customers are added in the dashboard, or from the API by creating an invoice with `saveCustomer: true`.

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `id` | string | `cus_` followed by digits. |
| `name` | string | The customer's name. |
| `email`, `phone`, `company`, `notes` | string or null | What you saved for them. |
| `createdAt` | string | ISO 8601 time in UTC. |

## Endpoints

### List customers

`GET /api/v1/customers`

Your saved customers, newest first. Customers you removed are never listed.

**Query**

| `limit` | integer | no | How many objects per page. See [Pagination](https://anytime-capital.com/docs/pagination.md). |
| `cursor` | string | no | The previous page's `nextCursor`, for the page after it. |

> **Note:** There is no endpoint to create, update or delete a customer yet. Payments and invoices carry the customer's name and email themselves, so you can match them to your own records without one.
